Over the years Ron has traveled more than 45 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. He stayed in many hostels during his travels and enjoyed meeting travelers from all over the world. Ron studied Engineering and Marketing. He loves cultural studies, sports of all kinds, good laughs, and dreaming of a better world for all.

Tracee is from the plains of South Dakota near Mount Rushmore. Tracee spent 5 years serving on Mercy Ships traveling around the world serving the needs of poor community as a surgical technician with a medical team. Tracee was with YWAM Minneapolis for a discipleship training school. Tracee's favorite pet was a goat named Beverly.

South Alabama born, Timothy's passions lie in the experiences and connections that traveling inspires and creates. As a world traveler, Timothy has lived in or visited over 30 countries spanning the Americas, Europe, South East Asia and Africa, gaining many of these countries while living with his family on a sailboat during a circumnavigation of the Caribbean at an early age. As an aspiring hostel owner he aims to provide the best experience for our guests while enjoying the great city of Nashville.

Sara's roots are in the Midwest but she has lived in 6 different states and 3 different countries. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee she decided to join the Peace Corps. This took her to Niger, West Africa and St. Kitts and Nevis in the Eastern Caribbean. She loves volunteering her time for a good cause, traveling and talking with all the interesting people that cross her path. If you are in need of a Zarma translator give her a call!

Ryan grew up in Missouri but came to Tennessee when he moved away to college. He worked as a photographer and graphic designer in Slovakia prior to making his way to Nashville. Ryan has spent time all over the world, traveling and working across North America, South America, Africa, and Europe.

Patrick is a singer-songwriter born and raised in north-western New Jersey. He came to Nashville in the summer of 2011 and became part of the hostel staff in April of 2012. He is currently pursuing a career as a solo musician and songwriter in addition to being one of our supervisors.

Lorna is a recent college graduate from Florida State University. She grew up in Jacksonville, FL and recently moved to Nashville to be close to family. She has traveled to the United Kingdom for most of her life, due to her mother being a native of Scotland and recently became a dual citizen as well. Lorna has been to multiple countries in Europe and hopes to one day move abroad, but for now she's loving life in the music city.

Born and raised on Nashville's hilly south side, Carson started working at Nashville Downtown Hostel in September of 2013. He previously spent four months living and studying in west London (where the photo was taken) and then spent time backpacking throughout mainland Europe. His hobbies and interests include history, music, the news, football/soccer, and home-brewing. So feel free to ask him about the history of his native city, which local pint is best for you, and why he would ever choose to follow a team from the East Midlands.

David hails from Nashville, TN. He is a writer and musician and is working at the Nashville Downtown Hostel while he works on getting his work published and eventually heading into graduate school so he can begin teaching English and Creative Writing at the college level.

Connor is a banjo player from Maine. He came to Nashville in March 2013 on a road trip and quickly made the hostels in Nashville his home. He is a bluegrass enthusiast who loves interacting with guests and is always down for a good jam session. Connor has been playing with a few different groups and recently returned from touring in Alaska.

Aaron is a native of Nashville. Since graduating from college, Aaron has lived in Fiji and visited several states giving lectures on climate change resettlement and sustainability. When not working on issues of justice, Aaron enjoys writing, singing and photography. Above everything else, Aaron is an all around awesome person.

Jason is from Melbourne, Australia. He has previously worked and resided in England for four years as a pop songwriter/musician, and has recently made the move to Nashville to continue crafting songs. When he's not making music, he's making puns, hanging out at Robert's Western World, and hosting the world's most prestigious table tennis tournaments back in his home town.
